American Psycho 4k (2025-2027)

The standard Blu-ray was a serviceable disc, but it suffered from mild edge enhancement and a color timing that softened the film’s surgical cruelty. The 4K disc eliminates the digital noise while preserving the analog grit. For fans of cinematographer Andrzej Sekuła ( Pulp Fiction , Reservoir Dogs ), this is the first time his cold, voyeuristic lighting has been rendered accurately on home video. American Psycho is not a film about a serial killer. It is a film about the performance of sanity in a sociopathic economy. The 4K release understands that. It elevates the surface-level perfection (the suits, the cards, the reservations) to an almost fetishistic clarity, only to let the rot seep in through the edges.
