Born in East Germany in the late 1980s, Angelica Raven grew up in a post-reunification environment. She has kept much of her early personal life private, but has mentioned in interviews that she studied art and design before entering the adult industry. Her background in visual arts later influenced her directorial style and scene compositions.
In addition to performing, Raven moved into directing and producing her own content, often collaborating with her partner, fellow adult star (also known as Mick Blue in some circles, though that is a separate performer).
