Sundar introduces Leela to his parents as a “friend” who is helping him with a project. Leela does the same. But the lies keep growing. Sundar’s parents decide it’s time for him to marry — within the Brahmin community. They find a suitable girl. Sundar panics and confesses to his parents that he is already in love with a “Brahmin girl” — he makes up a fake name, fake family, fake horoscope. Leela, meanwhile, tells her parents she loves a “Christian boy” (made up).
To keep up the pretense, Sundar hires actors to play Leela’s Brahmin parents during a fake meeting with his real parents. The meeting goes hilariously wrong but somehow works.
