Picking up right where the first film left off, young inventor Flint Lockwood is devastated when his infamous machine starts creating "food animals"—delicious hybrids like "Tacosodiles," "Shrimpanzees," and "Watermelophants." Joined by Sam Sparks, his monkey Steve, and the rest of the Swallow Falls crew, Flint must return to the now-vegetated island to stop the machine before it takes over the world. But there’s a twist: his idol, the legendary Chester V, might not have the best intentions.
