As Alex entered the library, they noticed a chill in the air. The fluorescent lights hummed overhead, casting eerie shadows on the walls. They began to search the stacks, scouring the shelves for any sign of the mysterious figure.

Emily hesitated, glancing around the library nervously. "I saw someone arguing with one of the professors. It was a few nights ago, in one of the study rooms. They were talking about something in hushed tones, but I caught a few words... 'the artifact'... 'hidden'... ' Elmwood's secret'."

As they pondered the message, a figure emerged from the shadows. It was Emily, the library's quiet and reserved student worker. As Alex entered the library, they noticed a chill in the air

As they pressed Emily for more information, the library's lights began to flicker. The air grew colder. And Alex couldn't shake the feeling that they were being watched.

"Hey, Alex," Emily said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've been trying to reach you. I think I know something about the mysterious figure." Emily hesitated, glancing around the library nervously
