Enter a symbol or select one from the watchlist.
Power off the device completely. Remove and reinsert the battery (if removable) to ensure it is off.
Choose Erase all data (factory reset) .
Release the Power button when the Safaricom/Neon logo appears, but keep holding Volume Up until the Recovery Mode screen (blue/green text menu) appears.
Use the Volume Down key to navigate to Wipe data/factory reset .
Select Confirm or OK .
Press the Power button to select it.
Select Reset Options or Factory Reset .
