How To | Hard Reset Nokia 700

From the home screen, go to Menu > Settings .

There are two methods to hard reset a Nokia 700: Use this method if the phone is frozen, stuck on the Nokia logo, or won't turn on properly.

Wait 2–3 minutes. The phone will perform the reset and reboot automatically. It will boot to the initial setup screen (select language). Method 2: Using Security Code (If phone still works) Use this method if you can navigate the menus but want to erase everything.

A hard reset will erase ALL data on your phone, including contacts, messages, photos, apps, and saved passwords. Please back up your data first using Nokia Suite (PC) or cloud storage. From the home screen, go to Menu > Settings

Tap Phone management > Factory settings (or Restore factory settings ).

Ensure the phone is completely powered off. If it is frozen, remove the back cover, take out the battery, wait 10 seconds, and put the battery back in. Do not turn the phone on. The phone will vibrate and try to turn on

Select Phone (or Phone Management).

After about 10–15 seconds, the screen will flash white, and you will see a formatting gear icon or a black screen with text. You can now release all keys.

While still holding those three keys, press and hold the Volume Down key as well. You are now holding 4 keys.
