The Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP) is the official, legally recognized book of standards for drugs manufactured and marketed in India. The IP 2018 is the ninth edition, published by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) on behalf of the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It came into force on 1st July 2018 , superseding the 2014 edition.
