I ran into the classic error when trying to launch Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days today. The game would crash right after the splash screen with a Windows error dialog. kane and lynch 2 openal32.dll missing
regsvr32 openal32.dll Method 1 fixed it permanently for me. The game uses OpenAL for its unique audio mixing, and Windows doesn’t include it by default. Hope this helps someone
