Barnaby, drunk on rum and greed, ignores her. He plans to sell the She Creature to a London occultist for £10,000. But on the voyage across the Irish Sea, the ship’s crew starts disappearing. Not killed— absorbed . The ship’s cat is found licking a wet pile of clothes and a single ear.
The screen goes black. You hear the ocean. Then, faintly, someone off-camera whispers: “That’s a wrap… did we get the cat back?”

The screen opens on grainy, sepia-tinted footage, clearly filmed on someone’s Nokia from the back row of a theater. The audio crackles. A man named (played with greasy sincerity by an actor who looks like a young Iggy Pop) drags a metal coffin through a thunderstorm. Inside: it . A leathery, gill-slitted thing with human teeth and empty oyster-shell eyes.
The She Creature escapes. But she doesn’t kill Eva. Instead, she drags Eva into the moonlit sea. The camera goes underwater (clearly a bathtub with green Jell-O and a desk fan for bubbles). The She Creature presses her lipless mouth to Eva’s throat and breathes .
