"This," Leo said, clicking the file, "is either going to save us or turn the hard drive into a sentient AI that demands royalties." "You don't understand," Leo said

Leo opened his laptop. A small, aggressive-looking file named pulsed on his desktop. He'd downloaded it illegally last night from a tracker that had more pop-up ads than common decency.
