For newcomers, Nokala Yuthu Weladam (roughly translating to “The Unbroken Promise of Five Lands” ) is a sweeping fantasy epic rooted in South Asian cosmology and martial folklore. The series follows the Weladam — five hereditary guardians bound by a silent oath to protect the mortal realm from the Rahu Maya , shape-shifting usurpers from the shadow eclipse.
