Jameson's eyes widened. "You think this is connected?"
"In an old case file. A series of murders from a few years ago. The killer was never caught."
Rodriguez nodded. "I do. And I think we're looking at a new set of crimes in the making."
Detective Jameson sat at his desk, staring at the small, unassuming hard drive in front of him. It had been recovered from a anonymous tip, and the file name on the device was all that seemed to give away its purpose: "REPO.v.0.1.2-Kirigiri.rar". REPO.v.0.1.2-Kirigiri.rar
Jameson's partner, Detective Rodriguez, walked into the room, sipping on a coffee. "What's the story with this thing?" she asked, nodding towards the hard drive.

The detectives worked tirelessly to track down Kirigiri, following a trail of digital breadcrumbs that led them from the dark corners of the internet to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. The killer was never caught
Rodriguez pointed to one of the images. "Look at this. The symbol on the wall... I've seen it before."
The two detectives worked in silence for a while, trying to crack the password on the archive. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the files began to extract.
Jameson shrugged. "No idea. But I have a feeling it's going to be a long night."
