Would I recommend playing Odyssey via Yuzu right now? Only if you’re willing to troubleshoot. Otherwise, play on original hardware.
Black screen on launch / after cutscenes – fixable but frustrating super mario odyssey yuzu black screen
I ran into the dreaded black screen issue with Super Mario Odyssey on Yuzu. The game either loads to a black screen after the initial logo or goes black right after a cutscene. The actual game is a masterpiece, but on Yuzu this bug seriously hampers the experience unless you tweak settings. Would I recommend playing Odyssey via Yuzu right now
