“The white horse is the Jama’at itself — the Ahmadiyya Khilafat. It is saddled, ready for the rider. It is pure, but it waits for someone to mount it and carry the message.”

Years passed. The madrasa grew into a small Academy of Tabeer. On its gate, Hashim inscribed the words: “Ru’ya Allahu mubashirah” (A dream from Allah is a glad tiding).

“Still? How?”

“When the servant interprets a dream with sincerity and righteousness, it is as if he has caught a ray of the sun of Prophethood. Continue. Do not stop.” tabeer ur roya ahmadiyya

Hashim leaned forward. “And the glowing letter?”

The black waves froze. Then, slowly, they parted like the Red Sea before Moses. A dry path appeared. The white horse trotted gently to him and lowered its head. Hashim mounted. The horse walked calmly to the glowing letter. Hashim picked it up. It was not heavy. It was warm.

“I must find a mu’abbir ,” Hashim said to his wife, Zainab, one morning. “Not just any dream interpreter. One who follows the Promised Messiah, peace be upon him.” “The white horse is the Jama’at itself —

Hashim woke before Fajr. He felt light, as if a mountain had been removed from his chest. He washed, prayed, and immediately went back to Maulvi Karam Din.

The Maulvi closed his eyes. He sat in silence for a long time. Hashim could hear the distant call of a peacock and the rustle of a dry date palm leaf. Finally, the Maulvi opened his eyes. They were wet with tears.

“You have come about a dream,” the Maulvi said. It was not a question. The madrasa grew into a small Academy of Tabeer

“And He it is Who gives you dreams by night, and He knows what you do by day.” — Holy Qur’an (6:60) “True dreams are a part of Prophethood.” — Sahih al-Bukhari, as emphasized by the Promised Messiah (as) and the Ahmadiyya Khilafat.

Noor woke and wept. Then she smiled. She picked up her grandfather’s pen.

“And the horse?” Hashim whispered.

He opened it.
