A long pause. The wind howled.
A terrified laugh from the radio. "The Key isn't on your side. That means it's the lock . If I pull the Key at the wrong time, the whole thing locks in place halfway and we're stranded."
"Okay," Elara said, her voice tight. "My levers control the order of the platforms. I can raise them in sequence, but if I raise the wrong one first, the whole thing collapses and we freeze to death down there."
Leo stepped onto the Sun platform. It held. He crossed to the Moon, then the Skull, and finally leaped onto the icy ground beside her tower. Elara was already at the door, breath fogging in the cold, grinning with relief and terror. we were here together bridge puzzle answer

He heard the groan of ancient machinery. The floating platform carved with a skull—the one two positions away from him—lifted from the abyss and locked into place with a deafening CLANG .
"I see the runes," he said, squinting. "But the path is broken. There's a pattern. My side has a… let's see… a sun platform right in front of me. Then a gap. Then a moon. Then a skull." A long pause
"Leo!" her voice crackled through the battered radio. "I've got four symbols here. A sun, a mountain, a skull, and… a key. What do you see?"
The Sun platform—right in front of him—rumbled, lifted, and clicked into place, connecting his side to the Moon.
Leo's heart hammered. Watcher. Mover. He was the watcher—he could see the intended final arrangement. She was the mover—she controlled the sequence of raising. "The Key isn't on your side
Through the radio, he heard the thunk of her pulling the Key lever. Nothing happened to the bridge. No collapse. No reset. But a hidden door slid open at the far end of her tower—a passage forward.
"The watcher's first…" he muttered. "My first platform, on my far left, is the Sun. That means your last lever to pull is Sun."
The bridge was whole. A straight line of stone: Sun–Moon–Skull, stretching across the Chasm. But the Key lever hadn't been touched.
"Good!" he shouted. "Now Moon!"
